A LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBIT (see below)

WELL, this is what one of our book exhibits looked like. The most fabulous book exhibits ever created, beginning with 50 books in 1988, and gradually expanding until book exhibits looked something like what you see below by 2019, when things ended, supposedly because of "coronavirus," but there were deeper reasons.

Travelling thousands of miles for the opportunity to meet with colleagues. Half-heartedly attending and listening to presentations. But the COFFEE BREAKS were the feature of each meeting, allowing lonely, isolated Professors to meet and mingle with their colleagues--from all part of the United States and from all parts of the world.

But what a horrendous effort. Waiting in line at airports, the turbuletn flights, crowded into narrow seats, the cab-rides, the confusion of barely knowing where you were, all for the opportunity to "connect."

With the Internet, connections are much easier and the presentation of books is also so much easier. There is not a big difference between "touching" a physical book and running through the pages on Amazon, and then purchasing it for one-third of the price that the book was sold for at the conference.

Mei Ha Chan and I did this for thirty years (along with Orion Anderson and many others).

We are in the process of finally LETTING GO as--the FOUNDATION FOR THE STUDY OF POLITICAL PSYCHOSIS comes into being, urgent projectt this moment in history.

We thank the publishers who participated in our book exhibits, and hope we contributed by making significant books available to colleagues and students. Mei Ha was a great salesperson and I was there at the tables. That's how the greatest scholars in the world first became familiar with my books and ideas, and that's how I met the greatest scholars in the world, who eventually became colleagues.

Goodbye to the old world and hello to this strange new world. The stability of that time was an illusion, the PSYCHOTIC dimensions of society has emerged. We live in the heart of madness.

But the madness is "out there." Each of us retains our individual souls. And, as a friend of mine used to say, "here I sit," at a chair, typing on my typewriter, looking at the words on the computer.

Where is the psychosis now?

Best regards,

Richard Koenigsberg and Mei Ha Chan and Andrew the Hammer, and many others who are joining the effort to understand the chaos.
