FOUNDATION FOR THE STUDY OF POLITICAL PSYCHOPATHOLOGY
Andrew Hammer, Executive Director presents,
"The nation dies when the blood stops flowing."

Richard has been sending out a series of succinct posts--you can call them "tone poems." One of them is below. I'm going to translate these posts into simple prose--making certain you understand them.

Below he compares the Aztecs with the Nazis. The Aztecs were very what they were doing: they fought wars to capture victims, drag them up a pyramid to the sacrificial block, cut out their hearts and feed the sun god with the blood of these sacrificial victims. They believed that if the sun god was not fed with the blood of sacrificial victims, life on earth--the Aztec Empire--would cease to exist.

Rudolph Hess put things more elegantly: he stated that the sacrifice of German men would create a "stream of blood," and that if the blood kept flowing, "Germany would be eternal." Eternal sacrifice was the essence of Nazism--in order to keep Germany alive.

The Germans pretended or imagined they were waging a war of "conquest." Western historians, less sophisticated, naiver than the Aztecs--imagined that Germans were fighting a war of "conquest," intent on dominating the world.

World War II ended for the Nazis when there was no more blood to be shed--when Germany could not be fed with the blood of their own soldiers and the blood of enemy soldiers.

And so, the world ends, and so the world ends, not with a bang, but with a whimper.

AZTECS AND NAZIS:
KEEPING THE GOD ALIVE BY FEEDING IT WITH HUMAN BLOOD

EACH SOCIETY BUILT UPON THE BEDROCK
OF A PSYCHOTIC DELUSION

Rudolf Hess on the Nazi god:

The stream of blood which flows for Germany is eternal — the sacrifice of German men for their Volk is eternal — therefore Germany will also be eternal.

Lopez Austin on the Aztec god:

As long as men could offer the blood and hearts of captives taken in combat, the sun god would continue on his course above the earth. It was necessary to feed the sun every day with its food, the precious water, that is, with human blood.
