Feeding gods (nations) with human bodies in order to keep it alive. Precisely the same dynamic that governed Aztec warfare (feeding the sun god with human hearts).

(1) People of the West in the 20th Century were much more extravagant in terms of the number of victims provided (to keep their gods/nations alive.

(2) The Aztecs were conscious of what they were doing (feeding their god with human hearts to keep it alive). Western people have been unconscious of what they were doing (until now).

(3) I apologize. I don't like to say this anymore than you like to hear it. But knowing the truth often generates profound and positive change. More valuable than 10,000 "protest movements."
