I engaged with a well-known radio personality yesterday (call it an "interview" if you wish) for two hours (date of airing TBA). He was courageous and unconstrained by the shibboleths of academia. He opened things up for me to take the next step in my theorizing. (SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW IMAGE).

I've been critical of "evolutionary psychology" theories that contend that the institution of warfare has "survival value." Now I am able to view this theory with a certain sense of humor.

Below is the Final Scene (the "final solution") of the film Dr. Strangelove. And people today are speaking about the possibility of atomic warfare--that might bring about the destruction of the human race. 

How paradoxical (how strange, actually) to theorize that warfare has survival value--when the actuality is that attachment to war may bring about the end of humanity.
