CONSORTIUM/THINK TANK TO STUDY VIOLENT POLITICAL EXTREMISM

With Roger Griffin, perhaps the world's most prominent authority on Fascism, I'm now organizing--founding--THE CONSORTIUM/THINK TANK TO STUDY VIOLENT POLITICAL EXTREMISM. We are bringing together a group of prominent, insightful scholars to explore the dynamics of collective forms of violence (war, genocide and terrorism).

During the past ten years--publishing over 2300 issues of the Library of Social Science Newsletter--we've established a "space of freedom"--allowing original and sometimes radical ideas to appear--with no interference from academic, religious, commercial or government institutions.

Now it's time to bring these ideas out into the world.

The people below (PLEASE TAKE A LOOK) are some of the wonderful scholars we've published over the years. I'm very grateful to each and every one of these people--who have been willing to share their ideas and insights.

Of course, LSS has contributing something very important: the ability to reach more people with our Newsletter (that has 8000 subscribers) in a single days with the essays and papers we publish--than a paper published in a typical scholarly journal reaches in five years.

LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS--virtually my sole source of income (apart from an occasional lecture or teaching gig)--is now defunct (that virus).

I can devote myself fully now to bringing significant ideas on collective forms of violence--war, genocide and terrorism--into the world.

I'm thankful to the people below (and many others not pictured below) who have made substantial contributions--and especially to ORION ANDERSON--my webmaster and designer throughout the years--who leaves a wonderful legacy.

I also wish to thank Mei Ha Chan--the Assistant Director of LSS--who worked with publishers brilliantly to establish LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS as the premier vehicles bringing scholarly and professional books to people around the world.

Best regards,

Richard Koenigsberg, PhD
Director, Library of Social Science

PS: A number of the people below have committed to be FOUNDING MEMBERS of the CONSORTIUM/THINK-TANK. I'm in the process of working now bringing aboard additional scholars who can contribute to this exciting project.
