FEEDING THE NATION WITH BLOOD
Koenigsberg's reflections on Hitler, the omnipotent mother, the dream of immortality, war as terrorism, leadership as enactment of  national fantasies, warfare as creation of an endless stream of blood, world conquest (= killing every human being on the face of the earth)
  1. Hitler's idea of world conquest: everyone had to die for Germany. The purpose of the Second World war was to produce an endless stream of blood: to feed the monster (the nation-state).
     
  2. One murders non-believers in order to maintain the omnipotence of the sacred object. Human beings become inhumane in order to rescue the nation. Anything goes in the name of this objective.
     
  3. Hitler was Doctor of the German people: Removing the Jewish disease in order to save the patient (the German organism).
     
  4. The leader embodies the national will: enacting a culture’s fantasies. The chorus is the author, as Norman O. Brown used to say. Trump as narcissistic or psychopath: it doesn't matter: politics is the interaction between the leader and his people. He is the "chosen one:" chosen to enact the dreams of a people: to fulfill their fantasies.
     
  5. The essence of Nazism was obedience: submission to the German nation. As Germans submitted, so other people would be compelled to submit as well. Hitler's fantasy was that everyone had to submit to Germany. Germany was the omnipotent mother. The psychoanalytic fantasy of "attachment" as the essence of goodness. Attachment as the source of destruction and self-destruction. 
     
  6. Jews symbolized the idea that all bodies die: the reality principle that Hitler could not entirely repress. "That no one can, no one must say to me: Germany must live." The Holocaust was the struggle to kill the cause of death, to kill reality.
     
  7. “You are flesh of our flesh, blood of our blood. You are all one, belonging to me.” Germans fused into one body.
     
  8. Monnet: “National identity is strengthened by lives that our lost." The only one so far to embrace Marvin's theory that blood sacrifice creates the nation. Hitler knew this. Hitler knew what the scholars do not know. Hitler as political psychologist. He knew that blood sacrifice creates the nation. The more he killed, the more Germany would live. He started off by killing Jews, then he killed Poles and Russians, then he killed his own people. The ending was contained within the beginning: a Wagnerian opera. Hitler enacted his fantasy of world-destruction: "kill the Jews;" "kill the world."
     
  9. Warfare is the same as terrorism: slaughter in the name of the good thing. Based on FAITH AND DEVOTION. Nothing to do with biological aggression. Sacrificial death is understood as regenerating the nation.
     
  10. Hitler reeancted the First World War. As his own nation murdered German soldiers, so would he (as national leader) murder Jews (symbols of the German soldiers). It's as simple as that. “Do unto others as has been done unto you.”
     
  11. The Volk is a double of the self: the King’s second body. Immortality: escape into a second body that “lives on.”
     
  12. Totalitarianism means that nothing can exist in a state of separation from the national body. Many bodies (the citizens of the nation) fuse to create one body. The operational definition of symbiosis. Fusion with the mother. One body: no separation. "Attachment" as the essence of the human neurosis. 
     
  13. The “parasite on the body of the people” is precisely Germany—projected into the Jew. The entity that drains one’s energy from one’s actual body. Feeding the monster. Feeding the omnipotent object: Like the American defense department: sucking the blood of the people.
     
  14. Creating the omnipotent object by bleeding into the body politic. “As the soldier dies, so the nation comes alive.” The soldier bleeds in warfare, thus creating the body politic. This is a better way of saying, "Blood sacrifice creates the nation." Warfare is a human fantasy that has sustained the idea of civilization: creation of an ENDLESS STREAM OF BLOOD to feed the fantasy that there is something more to human existence than existence itself. Sacrifice = feeding the nation with blood = feeding the dream of immortality.
     
  15. The “parasite” is the second body that drains energy from one’s actual body: feed the monster. The omnipotent object: bleeding into this body. Sacrifice: feeding the nation with blood. Feeding the dream of immortality.
     
  16. The Jew in the gas chambers: the other side of the coin of the Nuremberg rallies: the destructive meaning of symbiotic fusion. Many become one: bodies melt together.
     
  17. The Jew is a projection of the reality of the death instinct. The reality that all bodies die. The Holocaust was killing the source of death. The nation as an immortal body suffering from the Jew within: the principle of death. Jews = disbelief in the immortality of the nation: sacrifice is futile. Final solution = put an end to death, once and for all. The nation is a gigantic, self-perpetuating body—that will live forever.
  1. The parasite is the dream of immortality: draining the self of energy: the fantasy of immortality is symbiotic upon the self. The Jew is the negative experience of the German body. The Matrix gets it right: Human beings are batteries: feeding the monsters to create culture
     
  2. The Jewish crime = the wish for separateness or separation. Hitler asserted that no one was exempt from the obligation to contribute to/sacrifice for the nation.
