The purpose of our LSS Newsletter...is to put you through changes. Revolutions in human thought begin with changes in the psyches of individuals. If you are reading this Newsletter, if you read it regularly, you are a revolutionary or thought leader: on the cutting edge of human thought.
We're going to review some of the ideas put forth in last week's LSS Newsletter. Psychic change requires repetition. "You know it don't come easy (Ringo Starr)."

Newsletter of July 8, 2020, 7:01 AM (Wednesday): "Dreaming the dream of the nation as a body politic...dreaming the same dream together."
Neocleous states that "Because territory is imagined in corporeal terms, the state needs to secure its border--its orifices and entry points--from infiltrtion and penatration."
Richard Koenigsberg: Nations are imagined as bodies. We equate our own bodies with these "bodies politic." A "Mexican rapist" is imagined to be penetrating into one's own body. Jews were imagined as penetrating into the German body politic.
"Racism," or whatever you wish to call it, is like an immune response, rejecting "foreign" bodies that are imagined to be creeping into the self, the nation, one's own body.
Immigrants are imagined to be creeping through porous boundaries, infecting the self. Like Jewish bacteria in the days of Nazism. Building a wall = preventing pathogenic micro-organism from penetrating into one's body.
Thus, hysteria, paranoia and the immune response are the same.
