| Dear Colleague,
LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE will be organizing book exhibits at three important Psychology meetings over the next few months:
April 8-10
Dallas, TX |
Southwestern Psychological Association (SWPA) Annual Convention: “Evolutionary Psychology: The Adapted Mind” |
April 28 - May 1
Long Beach, CA |
96th Annual Convention of the Western Psychological Association (WPA) |
May 5-7
Chicago, IL |
88th Annual Meeting of the Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA) |
Estimated attendance for these meetings are as follow:
- SWPA: 1400
- WPA: 2500
- MPA: 2800
This means publishers will be able to reach an audience of nearly 7000 psychologists and students, equivalent to a single national conference that might cost $4000-$5000 for you to attend yourself. Attendees will be looking for information on the latest Psychology texts—and other books—for use in teaching and research.
Conference organizers provide “booths” at these meetings—but by special arrangement have agreed to provide LSS our good old table displays (9 or 10 tables)—so all books will be nicely spaced and displayed face-out.
Insofar as each audience is separate, we recommend—for purposes of simplicity—that publishers select a single group of titles that can be exhibited at all three conferences.
I’m able to provide a special price structure for publishers who exhibit at all three meetings. We will also be able to provide full-table displays (with runners) for a limited number of publishers.
Please contact me soon to receive information on pricing, and to reserve your place.
With Regards,
Richard A. Koenigsberg, PhD
