Dear Colleagues,

Library of Social Science is pleased to be organizing the book exhibit once again for the 2016 PSA meeting in Oakland.

We’ve organized the PSA book exhibit every year since 2000. Our goal is to present a comprehensive collection of the latest and most significant titles in sociology.

We do this by identifying speakers’ books, and by researching publishers’ catalogues.

But we also rely on suggestions from members, and this year Rob Parker has asked us to feature as many books as we can from PSA officers and committee members.

So—I’m asking for your input on titles we should include in our exhibit.

Please respond to this request immediately, providing information on books you have authored—or other titles you believe are important and insightful—that you would like us to include in the PSA book exhibit.

To recommend titles for the book exhibit, simply reply to recommendations@libraryofsocialscience.com with the title, publisher and publication date for each book you are recommending.

If you are the author, please provide the name, telephone number and e-mail address of your contact at each press.

Please be sure to provide your own contact details as well, should we require additional information.

Please reply as soon as possible, so we can begin work to ensure that your recommended titles are included in the display.
