Dear Colleague,

LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE is organizing a book exhibit for the 2016 convention of the Southwestern Psychological Association (SWPA).

Founded in 1954, SWPA prides itself on serving the psychological community by providing access to scientific advances and professional development within a collegial atmosphere. With an international membership, SWPA’s exciting annual conference brings together over 1400 scholars, psychologists, therapists, counselors and students. These influential clinicians and therapists seek the latest titles on the full range of psychology and mental health topics.

This year's Featured Speakers include Robert Kurzban (University of Pennsylvania), David Buss (University of Texas—Austin), Daniel Fessler (UCLA), Martie Haselton (UCLA) and Aaron Lukaszewski (Oklahoma State University).

This is one of the best opportunities of the year to promote your titles on all Psychology topics—and to introduce textbooks to attending professors.

Space is limited. For details on exhibiting at the 2016 SWPA meeting, please email Hugh Galford by clicking here.

SWPA attendees—enthusiastic book-buyers—seek titles on all aspects of Psychology, including:

• Developmental psychology
• Health psychology
• Stereotyping
• Positive psychology
• Cognitive psychology
• Learning & memory
• Evolutionary psychology
• Neuropsychology
• Child & adolescent psychology
• Clinical psychology & therapy
• Personality
• Sexuality & gender
• Organizational psychology
• International psychology

The Library of Social Science book exhibit will be located at the center of the meeting space, in the Omni Dallas Hotel’s Trinity Ballroom. The Ballroom will be open to attendees throughout the meeting, and hosts Poster Sessions as well as exhibits—thus ensuring a steady flow of visitors.

Our professional exhibit managers will be on-site for the entire conference. We actively promote your titles by discussing books with conferees, distributing flyers and catalogs, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
