Dear Colleague,
For the first time in 2016, LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE is organizing a book exhibit for the meeting of the Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA).
MPA is one of the largest psychological associations in the US—2500-3000 people are expected to attend this exciting meeting.
Its members, drawn from across the US, are university and college professors; conduct research in laboratory, field, and industrial settings; do diagnosis, therapy, and counseling; and serve as administrators and consultants.
Their diverse interests range from the physiology of vision to social stereotyping, from political psychology to medical psychology, from organizational behavior to children's language development, from memory to depression, from sex roles to drug addiction.
As usual, books exhibited by LSS will be presented on tabletops, with each publisher’s books displayed face-out for maximum exposure.
With 2500-3000 attendees, the MPA’s annual meeting is an outstanding opportunity for publishers to present their full range of Psychology titles—and to introduce textbooks to the professors attending.
Space is limited. For details on exhibiting at the 2016 MPA meeting, please email Hugh Galford by clicking here.
MPA attendees—enthusiastic book-buyers—seek titles on all aspects of Psychology, including:
• Developmental psychology

• Evolutionary psychology |
• Neuropsychology
• Child & adolescent psychology

The Library of Social Science book exhibit will be located at the center of the meeting space in the Upper Exhibit Hall on the fourth floor of Chicago’s Palmer House. The Hall will be open to attendees throughout the meeting—and is the location for registration and Poster Sessions as well, ensuring a steady flow of visitors.
Our professional exhibit managers will be on-site from the beginning of the conference to its end. We actively promote your titles by discussing books with conferees, distributing flyers and catalogs, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.

With best regards,
