LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS

34th Meeting of the American Society of Primatologists (ASP)
September 16-19, 2011 ● Austin, TX

Book ExhibitASP is an educational and scientific organization whose purpose is to encourage the discovery, exchange and dissemination of information regarding the biology and care of nonhuman primates. The Society’s 700+ members include scientists and educators in anthropology, psychology, the biological and biomedical sciences and veterinary medicine. ASP's annual meeting allows eminent primatologists from around the world to discuss their latest research on primate anatomy, behavior and development—and in support of public policy, conservation and biomedical research.

This is one of the best opportunities of the year to promote your titles to a prime market of scholars, educators and other professionals eager to acquire the latest publications covering all areas of primatology, evolution and genetics, evolutionary psychology, and primate ecology, conservation and protection.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

The Library of Social Science’s book exhibit will be at the heart of the meeting space in the Hilton Austin’s Salon G alongside coffee breaks and registration. The influential educators and researchers who attend this large, collegial meeting seek monographs for their own research and texts for classroom adoption. Our exhibit will constitute a comprehensive collection of recent and significant titles in primatology and related fields from the major publishers.

Our professional exhibit managers will be on-site from the beginning of the conference to its conclusion. We actively promote your titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with attendees, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
