LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS
This year’s conference explores the relationship between immigration and the changing social, political and cultural landscape of the global North. Attendees—scholars, community leaders and diplomats—will analyze the dynamics and underlying perspectives of immigration by focusing on questions of the state and globalization; race, culture and identity; and hegemony and inequality. This is one of the best meetings of the year to reach prominent educators seeking texts, titles for assigned readings and research materials in Sociology, Immigration Studies, national security and law, ethnicity, globalization and human rights. Space is limited. Please fill out and fax your reservation form as soon as possible to reserve a space for your press. The LSS book exhibit once again will be a featured component of the Social Theory Forum. Located at the heart of the conference in the Ryan Lounge, where registration, coffee breaks and keynote addresses are held, our tables will offer conference-goers a unique opportunity to buy books from our comprehensive collection of Social Theory and immigration titles. Our professional exhibit managers actively promote titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with conferees, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
