26th Annual Winter Roundtable on Cultural Psychology and Education: “Incorporating Multicultural Models in Psychology and Education”
February 20-21, 2009 • Teachers College, Columbia University

LSSThe 26th Annual Winter Roundtable on Cultural Psychology and Education—sponsored by Teachers College at Columbia University—is the longest running continuing professional education program in the United States devoted solely to cultural issues in psychology and education. The Winter Roundtable brings together scholars, practitioners, researchers, social change agents and students to examine race, ethnicity, social class, gender, sexual orientation, and religious affiliation in psychology and education. The theme of the 2009 conference, “Incorporating Multicultural Models in Psychology and Education,” underscores the Roundtable's commitment to recognizing the effects of social location in psychology and education.

This is the best meeting of the year to promote your books and journals on multiculturalism, race, social class, gender, sexual orientation, counseling, social work, education and psychology to leaders in the field who seek monographs and texts for research and course use.

Space is limited. Please fill out and fax your reservation form as soon as possible to reserve a space for your press.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

The Library of Social Science is organizing the publication exhibit for this event. An entire room will be dedicated to the book exhibit—directly adjacent to registration and coffee breaks. Our exhibit is a major attraction of this meeting—offering participants an opportunity to select from a comprehensive collection of the latest and most significant titles in the field.

Our professional exhibit managers will be on-site from the beginning of the conference to its conclusion. We actively promote your books by discussing them with conferees, distributing promotional material, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging attendees to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
